Groceries. Food. Eats. Fuel. Yum-Yums.
Whatever you want to call it, the vast majority of us love to eat. I know I
sure do. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure most of us HAVE to eat in order to
survive. Although I do have an ex-girlfriend who was scary to the
point.....well that's for another time.
OK, let's get the main fact out in the open right now.
There is no fitness goal which you can achieve WITHOUT first
cleaning up your diet.
Period. Finite. Finito. End of story.
Most trainers will tell you, if they are honest with you, that 75% - 80% of the
success you have in the gym, begins in the kitchen. Does not matter if you
are wanting to lose weight, build muscle or do both. If you do not eat right,
eat CLEAN, nothing you do in the gym will change your body worth a damn.
I do not believe in or subscribe to 'diets'. The word diet suggests a
temporary fix instead of a life time solution. I believe in changing the mind
and perception and how one eats for life.

Before going much further, might want to give these a read.
The vast majority of people are used to eating highly processed foods on a
regular basis. Breaking that cycle of eating crap can be difficult. The good
news is, it isn't impossible and once you make it a habit to eat clean, it
becomes a part of your life.
So what exactly am I talking about when I say Eating Clean. Generally
speaking, eating clean is the practice of eating whole, natural foods such
as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and some complex carbohydrates.

BTW, some of the protein recipes will be found in more than one type of
protein. For example; the Blue Ribbon Meatloaf is made with both beef and
turkey, so it is found under both beef and turkey.
